Armando General Information
Armando was grown in an underground laboratory nestled beneath the sands of Death Valley. When the Taint spilled upon Earth's societies and the murder of mankind appeared hastened, an effort was made on behalf of the North American governments to encode humanity's greatest achievements into a sentient gentleman. Louis Pasteur, Claude Monet, Love in the Time of Cholera, Songs in the Key of Life, all of America's Chinatowns and the Hanging Gardens of Babylon were all fastened about his genetic template, designed to withstand the crushing unnaturalism of age and to breathe during his ejection from Earth's surface to his rapidly constructed lunar habitat. Alas, the Taint seeped its way between California's ardent granules and within the scientific clockwork of Armando's placenta, teaching him fear, hatred, lust, greed, and all other things unknown to humanity's only hope for redemption. He grew up alone, save for his friendship and education at the feet of the artificial lifeforms that thrived in their underground solitude. At twenty years of age, Macroman, the last of the original League of Light, found Armando, and told him how a divine voice had spoken to him through the dry autumn leaves that floated to the ground and had imbued the two of them with the strength to liberate Earth of its Taint. Two years later, the Taint has died, but humanity continues on with its slow, vain suicide. Armando often walks the streets in the evening, knowing how things are supposed to be, and with fourteen-hundred imperfect personalities and events, wonders, "was it all really worth saving?" He is currently dating Rosario Dawson.
