SEVENHILL MEDIA TO ANNOUNCE MINISTRY OF PROPAGANDA, BAN ON SELF-EXPRESSION

San Francisco, CA - In response to The Kaiser's recent proclamation, Sevenhillmedia has implemented a new division of its production staff, an adjunct wing of The Ministry of Propaganda, which will be led by none other than the great general, Dietrich Von Schampffe from the Great War of 2006.

IN an interview with Sevenhill, the general told us that, "I'm having a really hard time accepting the Art World these days. And let me tell you why: it's the insistence, the self-importance, the highfalutin position that artists place on themselves and their work. Look how MEANINGFUL my art is! If only everyone could just UNDERSTAND my art, the world would be SO MUCH BETTER!"

The general, smoking a cigar and holding a snifter of brandy, went on to say in his broken English, that, "I'd like to let these artists in on the BIG secret: you're not changing the world, and if you think you are, then please to pee in mein mouth. My biggest point: art has never saved anybody."

The general has a point: You see, at an undisclosed distribution company, I'm the gate keeper, and whenever I see a title, or a description begining with "In the Ghetto, The only thing he had was Ballroom Dance," I tend to throw it immediately into the rejection pile. I used to because I wanted to. Now it's because I HAVE to. Art, Dance, Music, Filmmaking, although, too, incredibly boring subject matter, rarely lead people to a better life. They are "useless topics," explains the general.

Present for the interview was Propaganda Director Max E F Shwarze: "A great example is last summer's David LaChapelle's "Rize," about kids from South Central who manage to magically tansform their lives via dance.

Can someone just explain the logic to me here? You're telling me these kids were in gangs and were "at-risk," but were saved because they could DANCE?

How about "City of God" and this year's "Favela Rising"? Both prove on a lower level that self-expression just leads to TROUBLE. That's right. The main character in "City of God," while trying to express himself, had incriminating photos of the gang-lords...and what did they try to do? KILL HIS ASS. Come on, I mean, what would you do if you were Brazilian gang-boss?? "Favela Rising." A guy can rap about his favela in Rio. Whoopdie shit, look how much better things became there since his groundbreaking work."

The general insisted he add to my statement, "And take a gander at that Jewish and anti-nazi artwork during the end of the Weimar Republic and the early war years. Oh wait..WHAT Jewish artwork? WHAT anti-nazi propaganda? They clearly made themselves targets by expressing themselves. HAHAHAHHA silly Jews. I mean, uhm, happy Yom Kippur..."

Assuredly, we here at sevenhillmedia have learned a valuable lesson: Art doesn't save people, it incriminates them! Thank God we live in the Kaiser's Republic, where these dangerous artists will be silenced - sometimes, permanently, to keep them out of harm's way!

We look forward to liquidating your work in the very near future!
